Christmas Connections Cocktail Class: Santa Baby

Xmas Links have worked together with Cable Bar in Manchesters Norther Quarter to produce 3 Christmas motivated cocktails as well as a mocktail.

The Santa Baby is a tasty mix of cherries, Ameretto as well as Brandy that tastes similar to Christmas Cake. Cables mixologist Rhys Taylor reveals us how you can recreate the Santa Infant alcoholic drink at home.

Santa Infant Contents:

25ml Brandy
12.5 ml Cherry Brandy
12.5 ml Amaretto
25ml Cranberry Juice
5ml Sugar Syrup,
Garnish: Cranberry, Cheries

Method:

Include all active ingredients into your Boston Glass. Shake well with Ice for aprox 5 secs (tin must have condensation). Include an orange peel to your glass, capture it slightly after that utilize it to layer the glass rim (leave in for added orange flavour). Add ice into your glass after that position your Hawthorne strainer on your Boston Tin as well as stress the mix into the glass. To garnish, include a couple of cranberries on top with a maraschino cherry.

Bonus Idea:

Making the garnish a little extra unique, wrap a cherry in an item of orange peel and insert it onto a cocktail stick, after that put a cranberry on either side.

Christmas Connections Cocktail Class: Santa Baby

Christmas Connections have collaborated with Cord Bar in Manchesters Norther Quarter to create three Christmas inspired cocktails and a mocktail.

The Santa Baby is a delicious mix of cherries, Ameretto and Brandy that tastes just like Christmas Cake. Cords mixologist Rhys Taylor shows us how to recreate the Santa Baby cocktail at home.

Santa Baby Ingredients:

25ml Brandy
12.5ml Cherry Brandy
12.5ml Amaretto
25ml Cranberry Juice
5ml Sugar Syrup,
Garnish: Cranberry, Cheries

Method:

Add all ingredients into your Boston Glass. Shake well with Ice for aprox 5 seconds (tin should have condensation). Add an orange peel to your glass, squeeze it slightly then use it to coat the glass rim (leave in for extra orange flavour). Add ice into your glass then place your Hawthorne strainer on your Boston Tin and strain the mix into the glass. To garnish, add a couple of cranberries on top with a maraschino cherry.

Extra Tip:

To make the garnish a little bit more special, wrap a cherry in a piece of orange peel and insert it onto a cocktail stick, then put a cranberry on either side.
